How to make "Omelette"

Makes 6-9 servings:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped garlic
  • 1/2 cup sliced onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup sliced German sausages or any kind of sausage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 10 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese

Preparation:
  1. In a skillet, heat butter. Saute garlic, onion, mushrooms, and sausages.
  2. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in tomatoes. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whip eggs with a fork. Process cream in a blender and fold into eggs. This gives the omelette a fluffy texture.
  4. Season with salt and pepper. Pour into a warm skillet and cook over low heat.
  5. Set aside about 2 tablespoons of the sauteed mixture. Spread remaining sauteed mixture on top of eggs. Fold mixture into eggs and cook slowly until eggs are set.
  6. Top with reserved sauteed mixture and, if desired, with grated cheese.
